Privacy policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026.

Who is responsible for your data

Grigoris Grammenos, physicist, Athens, Greece. Contact: physicswithgreg@gmail.com, +30 698 209 6319.

What I collect

What you type into the forms or send me in a message: parent's and student's name, mobile number, email, school, year or programme, and what you would like to improve. The open-lesson form also records where you heard about the lesson. For group enquiries we also collect available days and times, course stage, level, exam board and preferred teaching language, to help form a suitable group.

Why

I ask for a parent's details because the student is a minor and needs your consent to take part.

Legal basis

Where it is stored

Enquiries and registrations are stored in Google Sheets, with notifications through Google services. We use WhatsApp for messages if you choose that channel. The teacher assigned to your child receives the details needed to organise lessons and follow their progress. We do not sell your details or give them to third parties for their own advertising. Google and Meta may process data outside the European Union, for example in the United States, under the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and measurement

The Meta Pixel loads only if you accept advertising measurement, and we use it to measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram ads. You can reject it or change your choice through Cookie settings, without affecting the forms. We do not add your name, email or phone number to Pixel events. When enabled, Meta receives technical connection and visit data, directly or through a Conversions API Gateway server that forwards the same events. Your choice is stored in your browser for up to six months. Campaign UTM parameters are carried through links between our pages on physicswithgreg.gr and physicswithgreg.com and recorded with your enquiry; we do not store fbclid in your enquiry. Fonts are loaded from Google.

Feedback from parents and students

If you send me feedback about the lessons, I record what you enter: your name, whether a parent or student is writing, the programmes and years of the lessons, your text, a result if you mention one, how you want your name to appear, where you allow it to be published and, if you give them, an email or phone number. Your feedback is published only where you choose (the website, Facebook, Instagram, adverts) and only with the name or initials you choose, based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Your full name and contact details are never published. For students under 18, feedback is published only with a parent’s agreement. You can withdraw your consent at any time with a message. I then remove the feedback from the website and from the posts and adverts I manage, and do not use it again. I receive your feedback through the message you send (WhatsApp or email) or through the form in Google Sheets, and keep it for as long as it is published, or for up to 12 months if it is not published.

For how long

For as long as we work together or are in contact, and until the end of the following school year so that I can find your details if you ask me for something. If you ask me to delete them, I delete them earlier. Invoices are kept for as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, and withdraw your consent, by email or message to the contact details above. If you believe something was not handled correctly, you can contact the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
