The open lesson

It is free and does not commit you to anything. You keep the note and the handout whether or not we continue. Only the board and the teacher’s voice are recorded, never the students. The link is personal to the student who reserved the seat.

Lessons

Online, in a group of up to four students or one-to-one, at a fixed weekly slot. Programmes and fees are published on the programmes page as a monthly amount per student. The fee you start with does not change for as long as your child continues.

Group formation

Each group starts with its first student and takes up to four, at the same level and on the same syllabus. The day, time and fee do not change as new students join. The form records interest; it does not reserve a seat. We confirm the start date, regular weekly timetable, teacher and fee before lessons begin. A teacher is not guaranteed for every time slot.

First week of a new group

The first week of each new group is free from its first lesson and covers the agreed group sessions. There is no obligation to continue and no retrospective charge for the free week. Individual time included in a package starts after the free week. If you continue, you pay for the lessons left in that month, before they take place. This offer is for new groups, not one-to-one lessons.

Payment

Monthly, at the start of each month and before the lessons, by international bank transfer, Revolut or Wise, in euro. In the first month you pay only for the lessons left until the end of the month. An invoice is issued for every payment. If another arrangement suits you better, tell me and we will sort it out.

Absences and cancellations

If your child cannot attend, let me know as early as you can. The group lesson goes ahead and your child receives the notes and the board recording. If we have to cancel a lesson, it is made up.

Stopping

You can stop at any time with a message before the start of the next month. If I think I am not the right person for your child, I will say so and tell you what to look for instead.

Your teacher

Lessons are taught by Greg Grammenos or a teacher from the Physics with Greg team. We confirm your teacher before the start. A change of teacher is communicated in advance with a handover of your child’s progress. Your agreed programme and fee do not change because of a change of teacher.

Monthly open lessons

Open lessons take place on the last Sunday of each month, using Athens time. The current date and session availability are shown on the registration page. Registration closes when a session starts. The free open lesson has a larger audience than the regular paid groups of up to four students. A waiting-list confirmation is not a reserved seat. Any exceptional cancellation or rescheduling is communicated to registered families.
